You can check on any current system disruptions or planned upgrades.

When a significant unscheduled disruption occurs, the EXDOC Helpdesk will aim to post information on this page within 15 minutes of being notified and provide regular updates until the service is restored.

  Client Impact: The existing Type 3 digital certificate (i.e. the public key) used by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service will expire on Wednesday 27 June 2012 and Customs and Border Protection will be 'rolling over' to a newly issued certificate on this date. This means that users who send messages to the ICS (in both Industry Test and Production), using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) software, need to rollover to the new Customs and Border Protection certificate.

The existing Type 3 digital certificate used by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service will expire soon. Customs and Border Protection will be rolling over to a newly issued certificate on Wednesday 21 May 2014. This means that users who send messages to the Integrated Cargo System (in both Industry Test and Production), using electronic data interchange (EDI) software, need to rollover to the new ACBPS digital certificate. The new certificate can be installed for encrypting messages TO Customs from 8 May 2014. Messages TO and FROM Customs need to be encrypted/decrypted with the new certificate from 04:00 on Wednesday 21 May 2014

The existing Type 3 digital certificate (the public key) used by the Department of Home Affairs will expire soon, and Home Affairs will be 'rolling over' to a newly issued certificate on Wednesday 21 February 2018. This means that those users who send messages to the Integrated Cargo System (in both Industry Test and Production), using electronic data interchange (EDI) software, need to rollover to the new digital certificate.

To facilitate the movement and delivery of cargo that would normally be reported during this period, the Screening Period will be reduced from 2 hours to 1 hour for Air Cargo Reports submitted within 2 hours of the ICS becoming available.

Deployment of the Re-cycled Master Air Waybill (MAWB) Solution .
As previously advised, the ICS will be unavailable for a 12 hour period commencing Saturday 18 June, 1700 hours until Sunday 19 June, 0500 hours AEST, to enable the deployment of the MAWB solution.
Industry is encouraged to report cargo that is due to be exported during the outage prior to the commencement of the outage. This includes export declarations, sub-manifests and CTO receival notices. This means that to avoid BCP arrangements, export cargo should be delivered to and CTO receipted by the export CTO prior to the outage . Where export cargo is not CTO receipted prior to the outage, a BCP contingency number for permission to load will be required. BCP contingency numbers are obtained by CI&SC more information regarding the BCP process can be found at http://www.cargosupport.gov.au/site/icsBusContinuity.asp
A BCP contingency number will be required for all export declarations and sub-manifests, that are physically received at a CTO during the outage period regardless of whether they have been reported in the ICS or not, .
CI&SC staff will remain until midnight on Saturday to assist in the processing of any urgent releases and additional staff will be made available at the CI&SC from 0500 hours on Sunday to handle any queries or issues resulting from the outage and implementation.

The Integrated Cargo System (ICS) release, 16.4.01 is due to be deployed into the Production environment on Saturday 19 March 2016. Due to the amount of technical work required this release cannot be completed within the standard outage window of four hours. The estimates are that an eight hour outage is required to complete all release deployment activities. We understand this is an extended outage and potentially impacts upon business. However this work is critical for the health and ongoing performance of the ICS.
ICS Release 16.4.01 will be deployed into production during the following outage window.
