This is to coincide with an outage for Customs to upgrade their digital certificate as below The existing Type 3 digital certificate used by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service will expire soon. Customs and Border Protection will be rolling over to a newly issued certificate on Wednesday 21 May 2014. This means that users who send messages to the Integrated Cargo System (in both Industry Test and Production), using electronic data interchange (EDI) software, need to rollover to the new ACBPS digital certificate. The new certificate can be installed for encrypting messages TO Customs from 8 May 2014. This is to align with the new Digital Certificates for HOME AFFAIRS (Customs ICS)as per below advice. The existing Type 3 digital certificate (the public key) used by the Department of Home Affairs will expire soon, and Home Affairs will be 'rolling over' to a newly issued certificate on Wednesday 21 February 2018. This means that those users who send messages to the Integrated Cargo System (in both Industry Test and Production), using electronic data interchange (EDI) software, need to rollover to the new digital certificate.
